The active range time is calculated based on the detected start and end times of activity (first and last event of the day). Generally, the first event of the day corresponds to powering on the PC and logging in, while the last event corresponds to shutting down the PC.
"Activity" refers to the time spent interacting with the computer (online time) or away from it but manually reported through idle tracking (offline time).
Online activity refers to the time spent actively using the computer, i.e., actual activity. Online activity data is collected automatically and almost in real-time, allowing for a fully objective analysis.
When users stop interacting with the PC, the software detects that a pause has begun. Upon returning to the workstation and resuming activity (pressing a key or moving the mouse), a pop-up window will appear displaying customizable options to indicate the reason for the inactivity.
The options will appear in orange if the offline activity is categorized as productive, and in gray if it is categorized as personal activity. If a productive option is selected, the time will be added to the recorded activity on the device.
"Activity" refers to the portion of active time spent on applications classified as productive in the productivity map, based on the job role or group.
This represents the expected activity for a specific workgroup, configured by the administrator or group manager. For instance, in the accounting department, some employees may work 8 hours while others work only 4. In such cases, two subgroups can be created:
Full-time Accounting with an expected activity of 8 hours.
Part-time Accounting with an expected activity of 4 hours.
This concept reflects an employee's ability to concentrate. It indicates the average time an employee has continuously spent on a single application without switching to another.
