Our software also allows you to clock in directly from your smartphone to track activity times when you won't be using a computer to work, such as for sales visits or the working hours of mobile employees.
First steps
You should open the browser on your smartphone and go to the following address: https://timework.workmeter.com/MyApp/
We recommend adding the link to your favorites or bookmarks for quicker access in the future.
Next, enter your account login details (email and password). You can also create a new account if it's your first time accessing.
If you're creating an account for the first time, you'll be asked to enter a company code to complete the registration and activate your account. If you've previously logged in from the console and this is your first time accessing from a mobile device, you won't be asked for the company code.
Once inside the tool, press the "Start activity" button in green to begin recording your workday. This will allow WorkMeter to start tracking your activity.
Next, you will see the timer start running.
When you want to stop recording the activity, click on the red "End activity" button to stop the software from collecting information.
Remember: To correctly record your activity, it must exceed 1 minute and be less than 16 hours.
Additional resources
There is a dropdown menu called "+Options" where you can select the project for which you are recording the activity. You can also set the time to stop recording that activity.
Remember: To switch projects, you must end the current activity and start a new recording.
Through My App, you'll have a personal calendar where you can check both the status of the day and the assigned day type (for example: workday, holiday, vacation, remote work, among others).
In addition to viewing this information, you'll also have the option to edit and customize your calendar, changing the day type according to your needs. These changes can be made in the following ways:
A specific day
Half day
A date range: To select a range, simply click and drag over the desired days. It's important to note that changes applied to a range will only affect the current year; they are not applied on a recurring basis for subsequent years.
If your organization's general settings allow editing with manager approval, the changes you make will remain pending validation. In these cases, the affected days will retain their previous type until the manager approves them.
In the notifications panel, you can view all the requests and changes you've made to your calendar (such as vacations, teleworking, holidays, etc.).
From here, you can see:
Notifications pending approval by your manager.
Requests that have already been approved and applied.
This panel helps you track the status of your requests, avoiding confusion and ensuring you're always informed about the current status of your edited days.
The User Information panel provides a detailed and up-to-date view of the user's logged work activity. From this section, you can view information for the current day, as well as a weekly and monthly summary.
This panel displays the following data:
Logged activity: Total actual work time logged.
Expected time: Estimated duration based on the assigned workday.
Balance: Difference between expected time and actual time worked.
From this same panel, the user can access the activity editor, a tool that allows them to:
Adjust the start and end times of the workday.
Divide time into time slots.
Assign each activity slot to one or more available projects.
Manually add activities to reflect actual work performed.
Note: This action requires validation from your group manager.
To edit today's activity, click the orange edit icon next to the activity segment. This will open a window where you can:
Modify the start and end times.
Select the project corresponding to the time worked.
To save the changes, click OK. If you prefer to cancel the edit, click Cancel.
If you want to add a new activity segment on any day, click the "+" button on the timeline. This will open a new editable block where you can manually enter the desired segment.
To edit an existing segment, click the corresponding orange edit icon again. You can adjust the hours using the increment (+) or decrement (–) buttons.
If you need to delete a segment, click the red trash can icon next to the record.
Important notes to keep in mind:
All information collected is considered productive activity.
The data will appear on the applications panel as "MANUAL_REPORTING" and from the device as "ManualAPP."
To enable employees to report activity from their mobile devices, a client code must be created in Settings > IT > Mobile Access.
