From our solutions, it is possible to configure permissions for Managers and employees. To help you understand how to do this, below you will find an explanatory video.
Once inside the WorkMeter solution, go to:
By clicking the "New administrator" button, a panel will appear where you can create a new profile or modify an existing one.
Complete the fields with the necessary information:
Corporate email
A temporary password, which may or may not expire, depending on whether you activate this option.
The email address where notifications will be sent.
The first name and last name of the new profile
Additionally, on this same tab, you can disable the "Can receive notifications/proposals" option.
Note: To set the maximum expiration time for account passwords, go to Settings > General options
Next, select the type of profile. There are 3 types of profiles in the WorkMeter solutions:
Administrator: Has configuration permissions for the entire company. They can view all panels and manage all groups.
Group manager: Can view the data of the groups assigned to them. This profile also has several configuration options.
The group manager can:
Edit and approve the activity of their team.
Have access to the configuration of certain panels depending on the WorkMeter solution purchased. They will be able to:
Configure the organizational chart.
Configure productivity: The panels corresponding to the "Productivity" section, if the company has this module or the Performance management software solution.
Configure projects: The panels corresponding to the "Projects" section, if the company has this module or the Project management softwaresolution.
Configure employee calendars: If you want to centralize all calendar management in the HR department and make them the only ones responsible for approving and modifying the types of days, this option should be deselected. This way, calendar editing will be limited to group managers from other departments.
The group manager profile can have all the configuration options mentioned above, which are enabled by default, or their permissions can be limited by deselecting the options.
5. System technician profile: Can access to download the installer but cannot view employee data.
Once the previous fields are completed, depending on the selected preferences, save the profile. This would complete the process of creating a group manager profile within the WorkMeter solutions.
