The main function of WorkMeter products is to help employees manage their time more effectively. In addition to providing online information on the platform, the product offers a summary of the workday's progress, available directly from the PC, called Time coach. This tool helps employees monitor the progress of their workday and assess their level of concentration or focus while performing tasks on the PC.
To open the TimeCoach window, left-click on the application icon on your PC.
In this window, you will find the following information:
Name and Group to which the employee belongs
Type of workday and its expected duration
Start time of today's session (detected on the PC)
Approximate recommended end time of the workday, based on the expected duration and active time
Progress bar
Counters for Total Activity, Video Calls, and Breaks for the day
Active project at the moment (if you have the WorkProject function)
Focus or concentration level
Details of the workday's progress
The Time Coach icons provide details about the workday progress through notifications that inform the user of various circumstances related to time management.
There is an excess of hours in the records of previous days. It is likely that the workday is being exceeded on multiple occasions.
There is a shortage of hours in the records of previous days. There is likely an issue with the calendar.
Today's activity has reached its expected duration. Please begin to conclude your workday.
Today's activity has already significantly exceeded the expected duration.
You have been working for almost 1 hour without taking a single micro-break.
You have been working for a long time without taking any breaks.
Important to note:
The data displayed in Time coach only represents what has been recorded on the PC during the current workday. If you have logged into the platform and added activity, it will not be reflected in this window, and therefore, the data will not be accurate.
The end of the workday is calculated using various parameters, such as breaks taken during the day and accumulated times from previous days. It is an approximation or recommendation intended as a guideline. You can click on the end time to see the actual time without these adjustments.
Focus refers to the time spent working on the PC without interruptions (desktop work). It is not a universal indicator, but it can serve as a guide when comparing your own performance from one day to the next.
Note: Time Coach only works on Windows at the moment and is only available if your company has requested activation of this feature.
