With our software, you can create different types of days according to your company’s policies, as well as assign them to employee or group agreements. Below, you will find a video that will guide you through the creation process.
To configure your company’s calendars, follow these steps:
Settings > Calendars > Types of days
In this screen, you can manage the types of days for the calendars. Each type of day has a name and an expected activity.
By default, we provide 4 types:
Working day: expected = 8 hours
Holiday: expected = 0 hours
Remote work: expected = 8 hours
Vacation: expected = 0 hours
These types can be edited to change the color or the expected activity, but they cannot be deleted.
You can create as many types of days as needed and assign a color to each for easier identification in the calendar.
If we modify a type of day, we are given the option to "Apply changes to dates prior to today," which means altering the historical data. If the checkbox is selected, the change will be applied retroactively.
The employee can change the types of days without the need for validation, as long as this option has been enabled in the general settings. For more details, refer to edit calendars.
You can also create types of days that only apply to half of the workday by selecting "Allow half-day selection." The administrator will be able to choose which types of days to apply the half-day selection to.
Note: The daily expected activity is automatically modified.
Compensated types of days
If you mark a compensated type of day, that day will not change the expected time to compensate for overtime hours.
Even if there is no activity on that day, it will not be marked as an incident, nor will it appear as "not connected" for the employee in the "Today" panel, as it is understood that no work is required on that day.
