This panel displays monetary figures related to costs, billing, expenses, and project margins. It provides a real-time overview of the profitability of all your configured projects, helping you make informed financial decisions.
Project: The name of the project.
Cost for the period: The monetary value or cost of each project within the selected date range. Calculated based on the hours dedicated to the project by each employee and their predefined hourly rates. Refer to our startup guide to learn how to set employee hourly rates.
Billing for the period: The monetary value or revenue generated for each project within the selected date range. It can be calculated in two ways: using the billable hourly rate for employees or for the project. If both fields are filled, the project’s billable rate takes precedence. Margin for the period: The profit obtained for each project within the selected date range, calculated by subtracting the cost amount from the billing amount.
Total cost: The total monetary cost of each project up to its completion date.
Total expenses: Displays all expenses recorded via Expense Notes added in the Event Log. If an administrator or group manager does not approve these expenses (exceeding a certain threshold set in Settings > General Options), they will not appear here.
Total billing: The total revenue or invoiced amount for each project up to its completion date.
Total margin: The total profit for each project up to its completion date, calculated by subtracting the total cost from the total billing.
Profit: A visual representation of the total cost (orange area) and total margin (green area) for each project up to its completion date.
Offer price: The predefined price offered to the client, set in Settings > Projects > Configure Project.
Price margin: The difference between the predefined offer price and the total cost.
